Reimagine Learning’s summer convening was held on Wednesday, June 3rd and Thursday, June 4th in Boston, MA. 2015 was a pivotal year for Reimagine Learning. Across our areas of practice, policy, and culture change, we’ve made significant progress as individual organizations and as a group in advancing our progress towards the vision we collectively created. And there is more evidence by the day that we are hitting a moment-in-time for our country where we could see this vision becoming a reality in the near-term. With this foundation, we are now looking to the next phase of our work together. In June, we reconnected as a full community to discuss how we can bring together the numerous moving pieces of our work into a cohesive whole – a whole that is far stronger than the sum of its parts. In response to feedback from many members of the community, the emphasis in this convening was on rolling up our sleeves and engaging in co-creation around core aspects of our work. We also provided space for the group to define the key conversations we all want to have with one another with an understanding of what we need to do to drive towards action and results.
