Our annual convening brings together members of the Reimagine Learning network to learn and discuss how we can collectively support the diverse needs of our most vulnerable students.
Network Development Objectives:
• Recap where we are, where we’re headed and why we’re here today
• Bring new voices and perspectives into the conversation
• Hear from the network:
o Focus our efforts: Bring complex learners to life and hone our theory of change
o See the network: Make explicit (through social network mapping) the strategic connections among network
participants in order to “see” the domain and to help identify additional opportunities
Working Group / Collaboration Objectives:
• Enable various groups to gain input from the domain to advance their work. (e.g., Policy, Culture Change, Learner
Profile System, Fortified Environment, NTC/KUCRL)
• Continue to distribute ownership and responsibilities of the work going forward
o Co-develop plans for taking the different working groups forward
o Identify the different entry points for working group members to engage
• Foster group cohesion and excitement about working together
Convening Design Principles:
• Create opportunities for people to talk to each other more in the sessions
• Learn from people “on the ground”
• Be clear about why we’re including each session and what we are asking for from participants
• Provide outlets for participants to process what they’re hearing and reflect on what they’ve learned
